Our Story

LURE Search Partners was founded by Mike and Ryan after years of hands-on experience helping some of the biggest names in tech, entertainment and gaming, healthcare, fintech, government, education, and beyond build their teams. Along the way, we saw a disconnect: too many staffing firms focused on selling a service rather than solving a real hiring need.


The name LURE reflects our ability to attract the right talent for the job at hand, not just quickly, but thoughtfully and effectively.

Mike Hellige

As Co-Founder and CEO of LURE Search Partners, Mike combines a people first approach with a sharp understanding of business needs. Mike’s path to recruiting was shaped by his earlier creative career but ultimately driven by a desire to help people, on both sides of the hiring process. He thrives on building meaningful connections, solving hiring challenges, and making a real impact in people’s careers and in the success of the organizations he supports.


Mike has supported leading companies across industries including technology, entertainment, gaming, healthcare, and professional services. His experience spans technical, creative, administrative, and leadership hiring.


At LURE, Mike focuses on delivering honest, transparent, and thoughtful hiring solutions, helping businesses grow stronger teams while guiding candidates to the right next step in their careers. For him, the greatest reward is seeing the people he placed thrive and the projects they work on come to life.


Outside of work, Mike is devoted to family and values time with his wife and daughter. His hobbies include fishing, golf, gaming, following the NFL and NHL, indie board game nights, exploring food culture, and enjoying wine and bourbon as a true connoisseur.


Ryan Lucas

As Co-Founder of LURE Search Partners, Ryan brings a practical, people-focused mindset to every client and search. With a background in sales and staffing, he’s spent his career helping companies solve real hiring challenges with a steady, solutions-driven approach.


Known for his reliability and clear communication, Ryan has built strong partnerships across industries including technology, healthcare, and professional services. He’s helped companies fill roles in operations, IT, sales, and executive leadership—always with a focus on long-term fit and business impact.


Ryan’s approach is rooted in trust and consistency. He listens first, communicates openly, and follows through—values that continue to guide his work with clients and candidates alike.


At LURE, Ryan is focused on delivering hiring solutions that are honest, efficient, and aligned with each client’s goals. His long-term vision includes building a team of like-minded recruiters who share his commitment to integrity and results.


Outside of work, Ryan is a devoted husband and father who enjoys golfing, coaching youth sports, watching professional sports, and exploring new places with his family.
